FortiGate-800 資訊安全防護設備提供中型企業高效能、彈性配置、管理簡易解決方案。FortiGate-800可作為高效率的病毒和內容過濾的通訊閘；或者作為企業網路的防火牆，實現所屬網路的完全內容防護，包括防毒/防間諜軟體/防惡意軟體/入侵檢測/防禦/VPN及垃圾信防堵等功能。為單一設備整合多合一功能之安全閘道。

FortiGate-800系統具有四個10/100/1000網路界面，(800F為四個光纖 SFP介面 4個用戶定義的10/100界面，可作為冗餘的廣域網路介面、高可靠度介面、多安全區域畫分介面，實現細度的多區域的安全，網路管理員可以把他的網路劃分為多個區域，(根據部門，企業處單位，客戶，或任何網路分部)，在區域之間創建策略，同時支援高可靠度叢集架構。
